That was quite a weekend! Up to London by train on Friday to be just in time to meet courageous friends who have been with Extinction Rebellion for the last 12 days, on then to join one million others to demand a People’s Vote over the Brexit debacle, and today to the Royal Academy to see the Antony Gormley exhibition – and then the 5 hour journey home!
Of all the pieces in the exhibition, this little one touched me deeply.
And there was a lovely tangerine sunset last night which we could see from our room.

I concur with Mama Cornier. Exactly. three years of youth who are our future have not had hte possibility to vote and we have been lied to really bad.
That sunset is wonderful!

Me too. I cannot understand why the lies haven’t made the whole thing null and void. Will you be safe living here? Do you have to apply for settled status? WE worry about our son and family in Barcelona if our government are hard on EU citizens, how might Spain and others react? My brother in Munich has taken German citizenship. Very worrying times for so many people. Love to you. 🙂

Yes it is a worrying time if you are EU citizen in another country. Like your brother did hte German , I have taken British citizen ship just in time, so my pension should be safe. Hugs xx

I just watched the Netflix movie about Brexit. I don’t understand why after three years Parliament doesn’t have another referendum when the people of the UK were lied to. What a sham. It was so sad to see the two sides turn on each other.

It all makes me very sad.I now have to keep away from the news and my blog becomes more and more important to me so that the beautiful things outweigh the worry about our future. But I still go and march! As the words of a song we sing at choir say, How can we tell our children that we have not tried? Love to you 🙂
