A glorious afternoon so off we went to walk by the sea. Join us – it was bracing!
I spotted something purple on the very edge of the cliff so zoomed in (the cliffs are unstable here so I didn’t get close) and found a flower which looks like Sea Thrift but is the wrong colour and the wrong season. I’m hoping someone can help me identify them – HeyJude maybe?
The seed heads were delicately beautiful skeletons.
And Sallie’s Ice-cream van was there!

Field Scabious maybe? I am always seeing different wild flowers up there. Saw one last month that looked like a very small yellow daisy (Erigeron aureus?). Yesterday was glorious and unexpected. I took the chance to work in the garden and get some more bulbs planted! Thanks for showing me the lovey Godrevy lighthouse 🙂

Godrevy is one of our favourite walks and quite nearby. It has a remoteness there and is getting quieter again which we love. Thank you for the id. 🙂

Those seed heads look like Queen Anne’s Lace.
