Glass, A Dress and A Kite

15 Aug

I have some pieces in a fabulous gallery, Fannie and Fox, in Penryn and am thrilled to bits!

In the gallery is the most beautiful felted dress made by Deborah Irvine. The detail is exquisite.

We went to Porthtowan today to meet our nephew and family and have rarely seen the beach so crowded. There were lots of kites around, mostly moving too fast for me to capture.

Ah, I was at Porthtowan on Tuesday with my son (who is still in hospital but was allowed out for the day) and despite it being a little overcast was also busy, lots of people in the sea. We had a nice lunch in the Blue Bar as usual followed by a walk over to Wheal Charlotte (but not via the coastal path – too steep for the invalid).
