Truro Station, Tea-Cups, Cornish Lane and Dessert

30 Jun

I must be a glutton for punishment but suddenly, I couldn’t let P&V get on the train this morning without waving them off so we went to Truro Station this morning to do just that. For some reason, it was less sad than last night and felt right.

Children’s art in the station foyer

Afterwards we went to Trelissick for some  R&R and lunch in the old house which was a special treat. I loved the clock in the dining room and plan on trying to make one like it.

The drive home through the lanes is always beautiful.

We went to Porthtowan for supper with the Munich contingent and had a beautifully presented ‘dessert’ made by the little cousins.

The clock is a great idea, and of course it will always be tea-time.
And naturally, nobody in the entire world who has seen that clock ever had that thought!

Enjoyed all your pictures. When I first glanced at the childrens art I thought it was from your Livewires lol! The clock is really clever, I can see you doing that. The green in the lane picture is like a painting I’ve seen before – lovely! The flower dessert, did you actually eat it – I feel silly asking but I don’t know if I could. Very pretty to look at!
