Chapel Porth – Surfer, Dog and Waves

18 Feb

Yet another glorious February day and we went off to Chapel Porth where the car park was very full. We watched a surfer limbering up, a dog playing with a ball in the waves and the waves, the waves!

I was so pleased to catch this one of the unknown surfer jumping out of the water as part of his warm-up exercises then off into the surf.

This little dog had a brilliant time chasing and fetching the ball. I love this photo, just one foot on the floor and the reflection so clear.

The waves are always mesmerising – the sound, the feel of the spray, the running up-beach to escape the encroaching tide  and the power.

Amazing – I could almost hear the roar and the thunder, and smell the salty spray… must have been wonderful to be there….

Indeed it was! I’m glad you could hear and feel the ocean. 🙂
