October 2011

22 Oct

We were in the  San Francisco Museum of Modern Art when we got the phone call to tell us that my dear, dear friend Kath, in whose name I started this blog, had died. She would have loved the philosophy in this piece of artwork. Kath was one of the world’s beautiful people – always kind, always cheerful, always loving and concerned for the welfare of others above herself. We laughed and cried and put the world to rights together and I miss her.

Sounds like a wonderful person, just the sort of friend to make you feel good. Sadly our friend and neighbour Mary died suddenly last week. She too was a special person. Your friend Kath will remain in your head and heart just as Mary will in ours. Malc

I send you my love and condolences as you have lost a good friend too. You are right, these special people do stay in our heads and hearts and thus in our lives. All the best to you, Sally
