First Books, Red Ivy and Pheasant

05 May

1. Baby B enjoys her black and white books designed to attract and calm very young babies. Art for Baby has illustrations by artists including Damien Hirst, Bridget Riley and Baby B’s favourite, Takashi Murakami.

2. Walking around the woodland around the house today was a delight, so many beautiful things. When I get back home from looking after my lovely daughter and her beautiful baby, I’ll post a gallery of woodland magic. I’ve never seen red ivy before.

3. Pheasants in all their glorious colours come for their breakfast and supper each day.

They also make crib toys in black and white now. Apparently these are easier to see by brand new baby eyes 🙂

Cute bambino, an seldom do I say a baby is cute, this ONE is, definitely.

The red ivy looked to be falling upward, but the perspective suggest soaring upward, either way the movement was a kick.

Enjoyed these. Its late here, so a babies image in mind should count for a good nights sleep. Rock a bye Baby in the tree…………………………………………………

What a fascinating idea – baby books… why black and white… do they think babies can’t see colour?
And talking of colour – what a gorgous pheasant

Baby B seems to love the books…and so bright eyed …
The pheasants are awesome…and to just have them come up every day…how neat is that!
