Birthdays, Jigsaw and A Good Read

17 Sep

Forty eight years ago today, I held my new baby twins for the first time, two beautiful babies born either side of midnight so having their own birthdays!  Here they are at about two years old.

We’ve just finished a jigsaw that daughter no 2 bought for us, lovely memories of a holiday in Venice with my Dad as we did this one. It was a particularly poignant memory  as he had always loved Italy and this was his last holiday before suddenly losing his sight a few months later..

I’ve just finished reading this one and thoroughly enjoyed it. One of my lovely friends lent it to me but I can’t remember which one! I’ve asked two but to no avail so if it was you, please tell me so that I can return it!.

    I always wanted twins…2 in one go…..😊
Great they have different birthdays. Surely they are happy about it. Love your puzzle.

I did too – and then I had them! A boy and a girl with different birthdays, just as my dream had been! It’s lovely to see them now, so close and such good friends despite being in different countries. They will be together here at New Year. I We are looking forward to that. 🙂

I envy people who have twins, one pregnancy, two babies. Though probably hard work. My son (50 yes old) had the same dungarees. And what a lovely jigsaw.

They were a bit of a surprise in that they were my third pregnancy and suddenly doubled our kids, one 4, one nearly two and then two babies! It was hard work but I had always wanted twins and then I had them!
Obviously the dungarees of the moment! 🙂
