When we visited friends yesterday we were delighted to meet with their beautiful cat again, grown and gorgeous. He reminds me of Orlando the Marmalade Cat whose stories entranced me as a child.Click here to see him as a kitten.
I just love having Cornish daffodils in the house all the time in these cold, dark months.
We have a new gallery in town called 89 Redruth. We popped in at the weekend to see the new exhibition. We didn’t buy anything this time but near some lovely clay pieces was the following poem which I like very much. May you all, Dear Readers, have the ‘invisible cloak’ of love to keep you safe.

Thank you, Sally, for this delightful poem. Every year our little town has a service by the river for All Souls Day, at which our community choir sings and people speak about loved ones who have died, read poems or sing songs about loss. I read a poem for each service and this will fit the bill beautifully for the next one.

That sounds like a beautiful ceremony for the bereaved. I found the poem very moving and I’m glad it touched you too. 🙂
