Amanagowa Cherry Tree and A Poem

05 Apr

We have planted one of these pyramid cherry trees, Amanagowa, in each of our gardens and, despite the rain, the delicate blooms are hanging on. We have hoolies coming tonight so I thought I’d get the photo now as it starts blossomimg and before it gets blown away.

Taken from inside through a rainy window

I love this:

With thanks to Audrey Loves Paris.

Beautiful tree and brilliant poem. I live my life with these manners, my daughter has been brought up living like this, and now my beautiful, precious 5 year old grandson is doing the same. He’s a very kind little boy. Hope you and Mr S are keeping well. Love Judith xx

We, too, live our lives with these manners and brought our children and they, their children to have them simply as part of their living. I just wish they were more universal in this busy world. Love to you and yours, Sally šŸ™‚

This poem is a wonderfully apt response to the frustrations of life at the moment. Thank you , Sally X

So glad you liked it too. It really spoke to me and I wish it could be read (and acted upon) by everyone in the world! šŸ™‚
