Good morning, I always know when spring is on its way, Mr Blackbird (I always say good morning Mr Blackbird!) starts to sing just before it starts to dawn light. I love it.

The song of the blackbird is quite magical. In my Dad’s last summer we used to sit in his back garden with a glass of white wine and he would whistle to his regular Blackbird visitor who would reply with the same tune. It was wonderful. Thank you for bring that lovely memory to mind.
