Flowers, Lampshades and Truro Cathedral

10 Oct

We’ve been in Truro today and the window boxes are still looking lovely.

Although it’s a bit early for these decorations, it made me smile to see all these bright orange pumpkin lampshades in a local restaurant.

This view of the Cathedral is what a small girl of about three years old saw and exclaimed excitedly, “Mummy, there’s a castle!”  All three of these things made me smile this morning.

Hi Sally, my daughter is coming up 39 and absolutely loves all things,Autumn. She sets her home out with all sorts of Autumn things, and especially pumpkins. This starts 1st September!!! I knit most of the pumpkins! I’ll send you 1.
When she was about 4, we visited my Mam, who lives in Cambridge. We went to visit Peterborough cathedral and my daughter said its My Little Pony castle 😍 Take care Love Judith x

Great shots, Sally. The pumpkins don’t seem too early ~ it’s only 3 weeks to All Hallow’s Eve. BOO!

You are right , of course. We were in Atlanta with my brother and SIL once at this time of year and the Hallowe’en displays were absolutely amazing. We are only slowly catching up here in the UK! 🙂
