I made a special lunch today for my brother and his wife who are visiting – Tomato and Two Cheese Torte with a pretty salad. 
We all went to visit the bench that is the memorial to our Mum and Dad. Plaques are being added soon.

It is lovely to spend time with P. He lives in Atlanta…..
It’s a ten minute drive and the stream that runs nearby is where both my parents’ ashes went. It’s also the place where Dad found inspiration for his first and best loved novel. It’s a very special place for all the family. xx

I think you might also like to know the following which makes me smile…. I inherited Dad’s ALCS and PLR payments and P has the Royalties. Dad has paid for his own bench with the money that has been coming in from Public Lending Rights and Authors’ Licensing and Collecting Service! 🙂

Delighted to hear that! I found exactly the design I wanted with wide arms so that a flask or a cup could be put there so that walkers could enjoy a cuppa along the way. Room for a picnic too! 🙂
