We moved to Cornwall from Birmingham when I was six years old. I had already lived in Cockerham, Surbiton and Edgbaston before that and was to live in ten more addresses before Mr S and I had our first home together. These are all the beautiful (well, most of them) places that I grew up in with fields and lanes, creeks and the beach as my playgrounds. I was so very lucky. You were such a lucky kid, what a big playground you had!

What lovely places and how it all changed…. your primary school looks a bit like Carn Brea school. How amazing it must be to live in a small school building… Somewhere when you drive form CArn Brea to Redruth there is a chapel on the left which was converted into a home… I would have loved that too.

I love the stone path to the beach.
These pictures really show how much you love the green and beautiful outdoors around us.
