What fun we had today! After the Freedom Farmers’ Market at the Carter Centre, it was the Maker Faire in Decatur and we spent hours there fascinated by the variety of makers, from glass blowing to 3D printing, cigar box guitars and oil can guitars, children’s activities that inspired and excited, recycled making, wood turning and and just such imagination and innovation.

It was such an enjoyable day for anyone who loves inventing and making and using their imagination. I looked at my brother and my husband and they were both grinning their way around as was I! Such fun!

Hundreds of makers gathered together with teir wacky or conventional makes. That chair has a bke attached and it looked quite hard if comfy to cycle along in it! The iPad lets me do my photos but without captions!
