Christmas Tree, Christmas Wreath and Jools Holland

14 Dec

1    We’re beginning to decorate for Christmas!   I made this fabric tree for the children many, many years ago and it comes out every year.

2   The front door wreath is also fabric and was a present from my brother and my sister-in-law who live in Atlanta. It too makes its mark every year but we have it on the inner door to save it from the weather. The other fabric tree is from Poland , from my brother-in-law in Warsaw.

3   We’re going to see Jools Holland tonight! What a treat!  I’m going to be without internet for a couple of days so forgive me if I don’t reply to comments or visit your blog. I’ll be back soon

I love your christmas trees, particularly the fabric one. We dressed one of my friends up this weekend as a christmas tree with battery powered fairy lights, tinsel and baubles.

The traditions of Christmas’ past are so important to each Christmas we prepare for. The memories each provokes is startling beyond compare.

It is. Opening up the decorations box is always opening a box of memories 🙂

I just love the wee hearts on the wreath, especially the tartan ones!

Beautiful decorations. I used to love getting the boxes down and laying everything out. New things are nice, but the ones that have withstood the wear and tear of many years are usually cherished most. I am only doing the minimum this year. Most of my decorations are already adorning my WordPress blog. lol
