All our eggs this week (from the supermarket not local as the chickens aren’t laying at the moment) are white and look pretty good in the old egg rack. They won’t taste as good……..

Your little glass bird is a beauty. I have had white eggs a few times this year, though my last 6 were brown. They all taste the same.

Yes, the glass chicken is very special, a present from Daughter no 3 some time ago. It amuses me to have her presiding over the egg holder. Mostly our eggs are brown except when we get them from friends when some are blue, some cream and some brown. 🙂

A dozen eggs from the supermarket cost about £2.60. From our friends who have the chickens, we pay £3.00 for the greatly superior eggs. 🙂
