Lots of our choir went to have lunch at the Tiger Feet Cafe at the Eco Park to celebrate the 80th birthday of one of our tenor team. I took a small posy in purple, white and green from our garden.
I had the most delicious lunch of a Rosti Stack with avocado, tomatoes and onions. The tomatoes were ones I had had a hand in growing at Community Roots which is just next door.
The poet, Wendell Berry died yesterday at 92. I’ve put his poetry on here before and here again is The Peace of Wild Things. If you’d like to know more about this remarkable man, here is an article from today’s Guardian. https://www.theguardian.com/books/2026/sep/01/wendell-berry-us-author-dead

Tiger Feet Café?
Tell me that is named after the song recorded by the pop band Mud?
