Jigsaw and Narcissi

23 Mar

Well, that was a difficult one – The World of Dickens, a real challenge!  It’s taken us four weeks but the weather has been better so we’ve spent less time indoors. It was much harder than The World of Shakespeare which was our last one.

This week’s narcissi from the GrowBox are very different, one bunch being blowsy and gorgeous, the other, clean and simple. I was told their names but have forgotten!

Yes!! I was thinking of getting one of those things you can work the puzzle on and then cover it and put it away until you are ready to work on it again. But I think half the fun is just working on it as you go whenever you like.

Those mats do seem like a good idea though I love just having it out and doing a piece or two or spending a long time depending on mood! We are lucky to have the space and to not have a cat (Though I would love to have a cat! Our daughter’s Maine Coon is expecting kittens any day now!). 🙂

Wow that looks like a very difficult puzzle. I love working them if I can keep my cats out of them. They are obsessed with the small pieces.

I can’t imagine doing a jigsaw with cats around! Having grown up with cats and kittens, I know how they love to play. 🙂

That jigsaw looks great. Shame we can’t swap some. I just finished a butterfly one.

It is a shame! I’d like to see a picture of your butterfly one. I’ve just started framing the next one! Really quite addicted, finding it very relaxing. 🙂

Hi Sally, I sent you an email with the pictures so you can see it. I don’t seem to be able to attach a picture here.

Thank you. I love the look of those particularly the Bavarian town. I must have a look in our charity shops too. I was concerned that there might be pieces missing but I’m thinking it’s worth the try. 🙂
