We returned to Community Roots this morning and hoed and re-potted and loved being back in the fold. All the seeds that were planted weeks ago have nearly all been potted on and planted out in our absence. It was brilliant to see the progress in all the poly tunnels.

I love the colours of leaves in Autumn.
We have harvested the four apples on our new family apple tree. These are Lord Lambournes, crisp firm apples with a lovely flavour. Let’s hope there are more next year as it is described as a ‘heavy cropper!.’ The other branches gave no apples this year.
