Six on Saturday – Suffragette Garden

My Suffragette Garden, all purple, white and green, needs some overhaul. The clematis, Polish Spirit, seemed lost last year but is now doing a good job as ground cover which is pleasing. I think I’ll encourgae it up the fence as well.

Nearby are the delicate white Autumn flowering cyclamen.

Cyclamen hederifolium f. albiflorum:

I have just bought some crocus bulbs to lift the patch in the Spring and there are already Narcissus lurking underground to make their appearance next year.

The Japanese Anemones are looking good and please me greatly.

The Choisya Ternata gives us white and green in the summer months but I do need to get more purple for then. There was some Verbena Bonariensis but it has. disappeared sadly.  Re-planning, replanting on their way.
