Yesterday was a strange day and I forgot to post here.
Firstly was the phone call bringing forward the operation on my nose, of all places, where there is another basal cell thingy that needs to be removed. If you like to know detail, look up MOHS surgery. Then there was the disappointment of not being able to see my brother in his last week here but then there was the fun of a night out with good friends with whom we laughed and I was able to forget my fears for the evening.
This poem, that I found a while ago by the wonderful Mary Oliver, seemed totally appropriate for the day. I may not post much over the next few weeks, will be ‘flying low’ but I will be back! Please send me extra special vibes on Wednesday!
