Breakfast, Frontier Culture Museum and Sunset

Turning off the I81 to travel on happier roads we came across a small roadside cafe with lots of cars parked outside. We went in for breakfast as many Americans do and found it full of families meeting for breakfast as it is Mother’s Day here in USA. I had a Bacon biscuit and it was delicious. I took half away in a box for my lunch!

En route we stopped at the Frontier Culture Museum which was fascinating having houses from 1820 and 1850 among several others that had been moved to the site from Pensylvania. There was a most knowledgeable volunteer guide there. The following loom is a ribbon loom, just table top size and it captured my interest. I liked the old dresser and kitchen tools too. The woodwork on the side of the house fascinated Mr S.
