Boston – A Show, The Museum of Fine Arts and Fortitude

Last night we found a fabulous show, The Million Dollar Quartet, a musical about the serendipitous day when Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis all turned up at Sun records studios and played together! The music was brilliant and the atmosphere, electric! Because of our age we got our tickets for $27 each instead of $124 each and the programme was free!

This morning we took the underground, the T, to the Museum of Fine Arts and had another day of soaking up all sorts of art. I’ll devote a whole post to this day on our return. The exhibitions ranged from Hippie Chic to John Singer Sargent to The Birds and Words of Audubon, art of the Americas and a very special photographic exhibition done by women from Iran.

And on our last night, a note to all the lovely Bostonians who have helped us get around and who have not let the horrors of six months ago dampen their spirit.
