Community Roots was our destination today for whatever jobs were necessary. The tomato tunnel is overflowing with wonderful fruit and we volunteered to record all the varieties on photos, pick a few of each and organise a taste test. Here are some of the tomatoes being grown.
There is a jobs list for morning and afternoon and as we all chose our jobs this wee chap was watching me closely.

The tomatoes look absolutely gorgeous!! All the different sizes, colours, textures. Whe I see them like that, I could just eat tomatoes as a meal 😍
My daughter’s next door neighbour has a little dog like that. He loves sharing my 4 year old grandson’s Quavers!! 😂 And Bobby loves sharing them with him!
Please let us know how the taste test goes, lucky testers 👍
Hope you and Mr S are keeping well love Judith

I’ve been hoping we’d get a message to tell us which tomatoes won the taste test but we haven’t so I’m hoping we’ll find out tomorrow when we go to this week’s Volunteer Tuesday.
I need to find out the name of that lovely little dog.
We are keeping well, thank you. Mr S is much more mobile and his knee less painful and less stiff which is good.
All the best to you, love, Sally

Which tomato won? I usually grow the little yellow ones – Sungold, for preference 😊
