…… for my Dear Mum who died on this day in 1993 and who is much missed all these years later. I still find myself thinking, just for a split second, “I must tell Mum ….”

I do that too. There are so many things I’d like to tell my mum. It is her Birthday today , she would be 96 like the Queen. She was very proud of this fact. Miss her so much. You know the feeling.

Sending love to you as you remember your Mum on her birthday – and every other day. Your Mum would have revelled in the weekend’s celebrations I think. My Mum was born on Bonfire Night and was delighted that so many people celebrated her day! xx

How lovely. I know just how you feel, though my mother died way back in 1978 and I mostly think “I wish I had asked her how she made that dish…” having not listened properly when she tried to teach me! I was too young to care about cooking at the time 🤦♀️
