I bought some recently caught Cornish Lemon Sole at the fishmonger’s today. coated it in seasoned flour and fried it quickly in butter – delicious! I served it with Cornish potatoes, spinach and peas and was reminded of a cartoon I saw recently.
Daughter No 2 hated peas as a toddler and used to hide them on the rungs of her high chair. We should have tried this line!
This reminder was seen in Penryn today.

I bought New England sole from my fish monger today, and I’ll cook it simply as well.
Love “Give peas a chance…”

Peas, Broccoli, Brussels sprout the three evils of children, an some adult children. Spinach doesn’t get the same wrap, could be Popeye t’ing.
Cornish everything be it fish, potatoes or chicken it all looks good with Cornish in front, just say’n. Why is that.

I enjoy peas in vegetarian dishes, mixed in to rice dishes or mashed potatoes, in pasta dishes . . . but piled on a plate? NOPE. Not a fan. But the cartoon and sign are great!
