A lovely sunny, blue-skied day and we met good friends to walk around a local garden where the Rhododendrons are fabulous, the Magnolias magnificent and the enormous skeleton leaves from last year’s plants both delicate and truly lovely. What a treat to spend real time with real people after all this long lockdown.

Friends, beautiful blooms, and sunshine – now, that’s one heck of a fine outing. 🙂

It was , indeed, a fine outing, all the more special because we have all waited so long to do something that we used to take for granted. 🙂

Beautiful. Did you buy anything from the nursery?

We did! We bought a Clematis that Mr S has been looking for and replaced a fuchsia, Lady in Black, that we bought last October and which has died.

Lady in Black is a beauty. I think I have lost a fuchsia, but I have just bought 3 clematis and some new herbs and alpines (the herbs and alpines from the Bodmin nursery, which is impressive) Plants aren’t cheap these days though!

You imagine correctly! The time will come when you will get to Cornwall and we’ll be able to meet up. 🙂
