We took a different route through town today and came across this front door with its delightful wreath. I love the door bell too. Some of the last leaves to turn are these, Maples I think, on the lane home.
I haven’t driven my car for months and sorned (Statutory Off Road Notification) it as the first lockdown began as I knew I wouldn’t be going to choir for some time. Now that it’s all happening again and there is little hope of singing for many months, my lovely Beetle has gone on holiday! Our eldest daughter has a workshop where she is going to keep my beautiful little car out of the elements for the foreseeable future and she will bring it back, I hope, next Spring…….

”my lovely Beetle”
Oh, you hippie!
If I say ”Scott McKenzie” do you rush off to find a peace sign and a tie-dyed T shirt?

I love your Beetle! I have the Fender edition and I just love it. I like the top on yours, you get to let your fly in the wind!

Beautiful cars aren’t they? It is fun to have the top off and to feel the wind in your hair! 🙂
