I spotted this tiny, beautiful dead moth, covered in raindrops, on the path into town this morning.
I took a different turn today along a lane that has intrigued me for a long time. At the dead end were these rather interesting lichen covered gates over which I could see nothing but autumnal leaves.
Coming back along to join the usual path, the drippy tunnel took on an eerie air and the echoiness was quite something.
