On the new walk that we discovered yesterday there is a small stream with the sounds, ripples and reflections that I love – and some fungi.
I’m seeing collars everywhere, even on mushrooms as I prepare dinner!
For other blog writers – This new block system is driving me mad! I’m with you Arkenatun on the frustrations. I have downloaded the plug-in but it’s not the Classic as we know it. I am being told to renew my Twitter connection and then told, I don’t have authority to do that! I can’t add tags or categories….. I will win. I am an optimist and I will not be beaten……. Tomorrow is another day.

And if you do find yourself in the block editor then use the classic block. Tags and categories are found on the left under post rather than block. It’s a right pain and I am very annoyed that they are forcing this upon us.

Thank you for this. I was so angry this morning I wrote to WordPress to say so and one of their Happiness Engineers (!) has helped me get the Classic back. I could send you the details by forwarding the email if you’d like me to. 🙂

I’m still able to use the classic editor for new posts. Annoyingly copying a post puts you in the block editor, but if I save it as a draft then I can edit it in classic. Just annoying and time wasting.

From your dashboard page, select Posts, select All Posts. At the top of that page is Add New with a downward arrow to the right. Select that arrow and choose Classic. Hope this works for you.
