Another Lane, A Bluebell and A Butterfly

29 Apr

The rest of our baby veg plants were ready for collection this morning . The lanes around the nursery are very pretty at the moment, so many bright new leaves and lots of Cow Parsley.

On our return, I spotted a lone Bluebell growing in the stones of our drive.

I followed a butterfly, a Green-Veined White  around our garden this morning, took many photos and this is the best. It flittered about at speed!

So which is your local nursery then? I didn’t think any were open. I’m not sure I have seen a green-veined white butterfly. I have seen some whites in the garden already, but none that have landed.

Kehelland are doing click and collect. You email in your order , they call when it’s ready and you pay over the phone and then collect from their parking bay. I’ll forward their shopping list if you’d like it. 🙂

Sounds like a good idea. I’m okay thanks, I probably have enough plants and compost and I will just do without tomatoes this year.

Just the sort of lane that Hockney would have painted with his i-Pad.

That’s a lovely thought. I can just picture how it might look. Thank you for that. 🙂
