Two Walks on a Rare Sunny Day

10 Jan

The sky was so beautifully blue this morning

Porthowan was a treat – toddlers  playing in the puddles left behind by the retreating tide; people strolling and waves crashing – wonderfully uplifting.

Later we went to walk around Trelissick Gardens – saw Daffodils on the way and lots of signs of Spring in the garden.

Wasn’t it beautiful yesterday, a real tonic! Very grey today though but as Jude says, it looks hopeful tomorrow. We need some bright sunny days 🙂

It was – and didn’t we need it? I hope you are right about today too. 🙂

Early daffs! Must get over to the garden, Sunday sounds like it might be nice.

I hope so. I saw a field of Daffs in West Penwith on 30th December but was unable to stop to take a photo. We are so lucky in Cornwall that there are so many early ones to brighten our days. There are a clump just on the roadside in Lanner and in Ponsanooth too that make me smile each time I go past. 🙂

Wow your daffodils are fast! I can see some bulbs coming, as it is quite mild.

It is lovely to see the early Daffodils along the way. The ones in our garden are still thinking about it! 🙂
