Beads, Bulbs and Boots

07 Nov

We have been with one of our daughters this last week helping to decorate their new home and re-making curtains to fit different sized windows. Last night, after another job-filled day, I fell asleep very early and hence wrote non post though it was my 8th Anniversary of starting to write my daily blog!

We woke to rain and the droplets on the Acer twigs caught the light like precious beads.

This afternoon, with LiveWire help,  we planted layers of Cornish daffodils for the Spring.

B wore her very special Mexican boots when we went out for dinner.

Special boots! There’s some family tradition there, no? Congratulations on eight years writing your blog. Consistently wonderful posts. I admire your discipline.

Indeed – shame I didn’t have my golden boots or my painted Arizona boots with me! 🙂

8 years is a great achievement. What a marvellous store of memoroes you’ve gathered here. Congratulations!

Thank you! Sometimes when the lovely Mr S and I can’t remember when or where, we can find the answer by looking it up in my blog! 🙂

Happy anniversary to you and your blog! Do you sometimes go back and look at old blogs from the first year and remember nice things? I do that and it is lovely to see what I posted then and get now still inspiration from it.

Thank you and yes, we do as I explained in my reply to Sandra, especially when there is some uncertainty as to where or when something happened! 🙂
