Sunset, Jewel Colours and More

07 Jul

Sunset two nights ago was glorious. I took this at 10.05pm and even as night fell there was an orange haze at the horizon that lasted such a long time.

One of our walks takes us past a fabulously coloured Hydrangea.

Our Sweet Peas are also fabulous.

Wasn’t it stunning! I got some great shots. Yesterday’s dusk was also lovely here but quite different – just shades of deepening blue swirling over the horizon. I also have some sweet pea shots – all these combining to produce a glorious palette of summer shades. (I feel a blog post coming on!)

Cornwall always has the best Hydrangeas. they used to be my dad’s favourite flower. I love them too, they are so gorgeous.

Friday’s sunset was indeed a beauty, not going to get one tonight though!

Sadly not. Let’s hope the sun comes back next week. The sunsets have been stunning. 🙂
