Cake, Kipling and Garden in the Rain

11 Jun

The decoration on this cake pleased me. I shall try to replicate it at some point.

Kipling had it right here. Photo taken in the bookshop.

Our garden is testament to that!

I don’t know where you find the time ~ to garden, to work with glass, to bake & decorate cakes, to sing, to sightsee, to blog, to post photos, etc.

    What is your secret???

I took cake decorating years ago so I know what type of effort was put into making that beautiful cake. Applause! Plus, next week is national pollinator week. 🙂 Your garden is beautiful but I have to ask what are the bright red blooms or leaves showing on the left. Thanks. 🙂

Is that a secret door I spy in the back?

Amazing cake. I recently had a bespoke cake from our daughter and son-in-law all covered in accurate looking icing succulents/1
