Family Reunion

23 Jun

What a delightful day we have had, meeting the family on the beach  at Porthtowan and then all back at our place for a big family party. lots of photos for the family albums but only  a couple for the blog.

Playing hide and seek

More family fun tomorrow! Thank you to those who have enquired about my Brother and SIL who were in the car accident. They are both still shaken up  and P is in pain from her broken ribs though the chatter and laughter have flowed all afternoon (albeit painfully) as they always do when we are all together and they are recovering from a truly horrible experience.

Oh I loved Porthtowan, we stayed there last year and, like you, had great weather.

You are having fabulous weather for hosting the family! Glad to hear that your brother and SiL are on the mend. Such a shock for them. Where did the accident happen?

Thank you very much. It was a lovely day altogether and so lovely to be all together after so many years. It is 6 years since we were together. It’s a shame that our kid sister who lives in Hawaii couldn’t be with us too. 🙂

Glad that your brother and SIL are still laughing . . . but don’t make her laugh too hard!

No, we realised that as P held her sides to laugh! Gentle hugs all round. 🙂
