Flowers, A Gull and Some Sandals

19 Jun

Padstow was our destination today to meet our family visiting from America.  After a mizzly journey, the sun came out for us and showed Padstow at its best.

The baskets of flowers all over the town were quite glorious.

Our Seagull was there again.

Regular readers will know that I love a beautiful pair of shoes even if I can no longer wear high heels!

I love these!

It’s such a cheerful addition to towns to have flowers like that – love it! My friend, who has been a shoe girl since we were young, would go nuts for those shoes too! I am going to share this post with her lol!

The street looks quiet for Padstow. I met up with a friend today who is staying in St Ives. She said it is heaving there. And still only June! Soon we shall have to stay at home! Looks like your family have chosen a good time to visit with the current weather forecast.

That was as we were leaving. By the harbour it was nearly heaving. We generally stay home once the school holidays start! Hope the weather does stay fine. We have the Munich contingent arriving tomorrow. 🙂

A beautiful sunny day! I love Padstow, but try to avoid it in peak season! 😀

It’s not quite peak season yet anyway! Give it a few more weeks….enjoy the sunshine this weekend!

It was very busy! I can’t imagine that one can even walk around in the peak season! 🙂
