Seagull, Artist and High Heel Shoes

12 Apr

Walking along to choir this morning, I saw the most delightful Seagull painted on a little blue car. At the back there were two more!

On the drive into Penryn, I had noticed that the Winter mural outside one of my favourite shops, Just Delights, was being changed and leaving later after choir, I saw that the artist, Elizabeth Perry, was working on it still. I stopped and asked permission for these photos. I will show you the finished mural next Thursday. You can see the Winter one here.

I love pretty shoes! I cannot wear high heels but that doesn’t stop me coveting them! If you are a regular reader you will have seen some beauties before. Here is another example of shoe heaven, a gorgeous confection of a shoe.

I just wish I could wear some of them! I did buy a pair of silver lace ups and they are rather lovely too. 🙂

“A gorgeous confection of a shoe” ~ A delightful description! And although I could never manage to walk in those either, I do think they’re fabulous!

So appealing aren’t they? I go into that shoe shop, never to buy, just to ogle, take photos and wish that I could manage to walk in them! 🙂

Love the seagull. It reminds me of the gulls in Finding NEMO ~> “Mine.” “Mine. “Mine.”

Holiday makers are warned about seagulls dive-bombing to steal pasties or chips or ice-creams. Every seagull thinks, “Mine! Mine! Mine!” 🙂
