Man Engine, Cornish Passport and Wood Burner

01 Apr

The wonderful Man Engine rose to his full height at Heartlands today as we sang to him and the crowd who braved the rain and wind.

I earned my Cornish passport today!

Even with four layers, I did get rather cold and damp (it was only 8C today) so when I came home, after toast and honey next door, I lit the wood burner.

That fire looks delightful for a chilly day.

How do you earn a Cornish Passport? By braving the elements?

I was part of the choir. If I hadn’t been I might not have gone given the weather, having seen him two years ago. I’m sorry you missed him though, he is spectacular! Wadebridge tomorrow perhaps? 🙂

Oh, I am glad you got to see it. I would have gone, but the weather has been atrocious today. Should have gone to Geevor yesterday!
