I was looking for colour on a brisk walk around Lovers’ Lane this afternoon in bitter cold and with snow in the forecast. Some sprinkles fell! Can you spot them?

We’ve had a very, very dry fall and winter so far, but have enjoyed 4 small snowfalls in the last 3 weeks. Today’s is the prettiest yet. We’re enjoying our fireplace.

Spotted the snowflakes! The news of the powerful winter storm spreading across Europe was in our national news reports this morning. Hope you and the lovely Mr. S are staying warm and cozy.

Well spotted! The rest of the country has lots of snow. Our is expected on Wednesday but we shall see. It is certainly very much colder than usual. KJ in London and LV in Norfolk will be sledging and building snowmen with the kids today! We have a blue sky and an early morning temperature of -3, feels like -10! We will be lighting the log burner early methinks.
