Walking through Bodmin this morning, we passed this colourful arcade full of umbrellas.

In the car park, I was delighted to see that this memorial is for all dogs to get a drink from and is in memory of a couple, special to their owners as all pets are. Thought of you and Bertie, Mandy, with love.

Once home, the Robin, who frequently perches on our sculpture but who usually flies off before I can grab my camera, stayed put long enough for this photo.

Saw a similar example of umbrellas on a blog featuring photography from Portugal. I wish I could remember where in Portugal it was?
It’s a very clever idea and adds a welcome splash of colour especially when displayed in this fashion beneath a skylight.
