Gladys Roberts, Rupi Kaur and Seed Head

05 Feb

I think I have identified the Suffragette who wrote the Diary as Gladys Roberts. You can read about my research here. Please share the post here and there. I am really hoping that with the extra interest in Suffragettes at the moment,, tomorrow being the Centenary of Women’s Suffrage,  someone might recognise her name and be able to tell me more.

This small poem came my way yesterday and seemed appropriate for the times.

Rupi Kaur

The Clematis is all but gone but there are a few delicate seed heads left behind.

When I read this I inserted “people” in the place of women in my mind….what a powerful poem Sally! Hugs to you!

I think substituting people for women is an excellent thing to do. It reads even better like that. Thank you. Hugs to you too. 🙂
