Rainbow, Mural and Gargoyles

05 Jan

Driving to Exeter we went through crazy rainstorms and wonderful rainbows.

Rainbows and sheep, taken from the moving car. I was not driving!

In the car park, there were some delightful murals by Andrew Alleway in 1991. They certainly brightened up a darkish space. and made me smile.

We love Exeter Cathedral. This is part of the North face with details of the gargoyles

We were chasing rainbows this afternoon whilst driving into Hayle – wonderful. And I must get to Exeter and visit the cathedral, one that has escaped me so far.

Beautiful rainbow over the moor, Sally.. I was above Swanpool this afternoon and the end of a rainbow touched Pendennis Castle!

How lovely! I would have been tempted to go looking for the pot of gold – to share of course, you understand! xx
