Walk Around the Back

01 Jan

After another wild and very wet night, the sun shone by about midday and we went for a walk up along the Great Flat Lode trail that is right behind our house. It’s a good stomp for finding beautiful things!

The reflection in the water pic really caught my eye Sally – great capture.

    Hi Sally,
can I ask you how you did it with your blog running out of space, but you can still continue. Mine is starting to get full and I am not sure what to do….Shall I start a new one? I don’t really want to delete any posts…. any helpful hints please?

I’m having the same problem. I’ve ended up deleting stuff after trying to start a new blog without much luck. It’s hard to get people to follow you over to a new blog it seems. May be Sally has some other suggestions. I think she did Flickr links for pics.

        Hello,
I have just written a long reply to you and to Ute so I hope that helps, albeit in a rather expensive way. It took me several months to decide to pay the extra money, having tried all the options but I have no regrets as I don’t have to think twice any more about how many photos etc. Love and Happy New Year to you and Kyle. xx

      Hello,
It is a dilemma and I did try the Flickr option for a while but found it cumbersome and irritating! I tried deleting some photos but then the old posts were spoiled and people do look at old posts. I toyed with the idea of starting a new blog as Saymber did but wanted to keep all my followers and wasn’t sure they would all come with me!
In the end, I just bit the bullet as they say, and bought the next level, the Business one so that I could have unlimited photos. I love my blogging so much that I decided it was worth paying more for. It is quite an expensive hobby (£250 a year!) but it gives me , and lots of others, pleasure so that is what I now do.
All the best to you in solving your dilemma. I hope you manage to keep on blogging!
Happy New Year to you and Saymber. xx

Hi Sally, thanks for letting me know. I am just exploring it all. I am on free at the moment and have 3GB, this took me almost 5 and half years of blogging I am 76% full . So I am looking into the next option which is Personal blog and gives me 6GB, double that should last me another 5 years with my level of blogging. I really don’t want to start a new blog. I also am checking out Flickr, I had an account and didn’t even know it.. (via Yahoo) well I am using it probably now more too. I still have time to think …. Thanks so much for your explanation and totally understand that you want to keep the blog as it is. It is lovely!
