Chapel Porth and Trelissick

30 Dec

Last full day with our LiveWires and two of our daughters and a busy one it has been – a very windy walk up to Wheal Coates in the morning followed by a good stomp through Trelissick Gardens all illuminated and gorgeous though the rain was relentless.

Gosh you’re brave going out in the weather we’ve been experiencing lately – I’ve been hunkering down indoors for a week now!! Forgot Trelissick was illuminated, Was it good?

If the LiveWires had not been here we probably would have stayed inside too! They needed fresh air and exercise. We were to go to Trelissick for my birthday treat today but the rain looked even worse so we braved it last night and it was beautiful, the ancient trees illuminated, their bark looking just amazing but photos were not really possible. If the weather isn’t as bad as forecast this evening, do go! You’ll love it.🙂

True. When you have young children around you can’t let the weather stop you doing things.
