Months ago I put my name on a waiting list for any one of the Stained Glass Christmas Decoration workshops at The Craft Collective in Redruth and had forgotten all about it until I had a phone call this morning saying there was a place for me! Just look what I made! I am so delighted with my quirky Suffragette Angel!
We had a brilliant teacher, Lisa Macfarlane, who taught us all the techniques and encouraged us all to make our individual Christmas decorations. I’ll be looking out for another course to develop these new skills.

Sally our paths cross the ocean again! I love stained glass and I spent a great deal of time yesterday trying to find an angel my Aunt Ruth had given to me that had limbs of wire holding a sign saying my middle name, Joy. The angel is just beautiful and so are the other pieces. Great job!

Love your angel . . . but why “suffragette” angel?
Over here, “suffragette” deals with the right to vote.
Also love the colors in the stars.

She is my Suffragette angel because she is in Suffragette colours of purple, white (well, here, silver) and green to celebrate my Suffragette heritage. 🙂
