Dawn, Fungus and Sunbeam

28 Nov

I could see the pinky/orange glow of the dawn lighting the walls of the hall before I arrived in the kitchen. Pulling up the blinds, this was my view.

Dawn

Walking back up from town I noticed a golden fungus growing on a Cornish wall, close to the pavement.I’m hoping someone will be able to identify it for me. Tom?

Fungus

There were heavy clouds as I was walking along the lane and then suddenly a sunbeam lit up some golden leaves. Moments later, the heavens opened and I was drenched on the last leg of my journey!

Sunbeam

In fact, it has been a golden day.

Early morning sky – a hint of marmalade, me thinks.

Lone soldier – seems like a fun-guy. Wonder why he is alone.

Don’t you think, that sliver of light was meant just for you. I do. I am that silly.

Yes, a golden marmaladey touch to each photo today.

I still haven’t identified the lone fungus.

Yes, I think it was just for me. I am that positive too! 🙂

The first picture looks like it could be a painting – beautiful shot!

Thank you. It was gorgeous to open the blinds to such a sight. 🙂
