Lights Switch On in Redruth

25 Nov

A delightful parade with the theme of Light, Father Christmas in his green outfit, our small town bursting at the seams, my choirs singing and the lights switch on, followed by the Wassailers – what a splendid evening!

Strange and yet…..A street lamp lit mob of young and old revelers. If it gets you digitally unplugged and oot of the hoose it has to be good and fun. Now that’s celebrating the spirit, hope it ignites a grass fire of goodness and kindness far and beyond the walls and roof tops.

Wouldn’t that be wonderful? Events like this do bring our small community together and every year it gets better and more fun! 🙂

Very pretty. One of my mates put up photos of the lights in my old stomping ground, Chester.
Pulled at the heart strings just a bit!
