Spice Mixture, Chapel Porth and A Seed Head

16 Dec

We are having Christmas lunch on Sunday so I have been preparing the brining mixture for the turkey – gloriously coloured and scented fruit, spices and vegetables. Late afternoon took us to Chapelporth where the waves were huge and the tide racing in at a speed that I have never seen before. It was an utterly exhilarating walk along the beach with the roar of the breakers and then up the cliff walk to Wheal Coates. There was some gorse in flower but the best things were the seed heads lit by the fading sun.  Click on any photo for the caption and to see it in its full glory!

Great pics! Reminds me that we need to make a journey to the sea soon.

There’s nothing like a trip to sea to make one feel alive! I hope you enjoy your trip.:)

Hi Sally. I’m not sure what is happening, but I noticed that Your posts were not coming into my reader. I checked and saw that I was not following your blog. Not sure how this happened. I clicked the “follow” tab and the status changed to “Following” but then simply jumped back to “Follow” again. I’ll keep an eye on it and see what happens.

Thank you Don. I had wondered why people disappear and a couple of friends have told me the same as you have just said. I’d be very grateful if you would keep an eye out. By the way, have you heard from Calvin lately? I feel somewhat concerned for him…

Yes I feel that Way about Calvin as well. I sent him a mail, but there was no response. Also a bit worried.

And now….. I’m finding that my comment on your teazle post ‘cannot be posted’. I’ve been trying all day!

I suspect the problem is with WordPress, Sally. The problems seemed to come with the new Editor, or just before that. I’m sure this has got something to do with it. I’ve also lost some followers. Not good.
